Groups

Interest groups are run by individuals within Paignton u3a for fellow members.

Anyone wishing to join a group is advised to contact the relevant group leader for details regarding the venue; most groups run monthly, and the time of day/specific date within the month is noted on this page. You can contact a group leader by clicking the group and using the contact form.

If you're interested in starting a different group yourself, or taking on one of the inactive groups please contact the Committee first. We welcome interest in increasing the number of groups we can run! A group leader controls the group's month-to-month operations, ensuring its progress within u3a guidelines.

Meeting places vary, from members' homes to rooms around Paignton. The cost of a meeting is usually less than £5, and in some cases considerably less than that. Materials and/or external memberships/fees incur extra charges.
